Why are “Bad words” bad?

I come from a family that, with even with respect, it still uses some not so fancy words. But my question is: why are those word so… Bad?

Ok. I know. You cannot talk bad words. They are bad words. Well, except, they are not. I think bad words are bad only the popular concept, and they actually shouldn’t be cancelled, they actually can be useful, even if they are harmful to someone. (And let’s be honest, who cares if you hurt the feelings of a son of a b*tch?)

Part 1: Why are they “bad words”?

Well, for being honest, I don’t know, and that is the point.

Now, don’t get me wrong, some of these are pretty wrong, but, the thing is, we came to a point where it is unsustainable. I mean, what is the problem if I kick the corner of my desk (not on purpose) and I scream something like “F*CK! Who put that desk there!?”? None. Cause it is the common and most obvious reaction. I won’t scream “Oh, that hurts so much! Children, you should not do this!”! Who do you think I am? One of the Teletubbies?

I am just impressed with how society is treating these words, which, for being honest, are just bad words.

Part 2: Do not exaggerate.

I am talking all this and there must be an old lady thinking: “Oh my God, what is this kid saying? What a lack of education, he thinks that I would start talking bad words with my grandson? Oh my God.” Easy there.

Look, I may don’t have Queen’s Elisabeth education, but I do have some education! Of course, there are words that I wouldn’t speak to 5-year-old children, and other words I wouldn’t speak at all, but some of them are extremely useful, but still, if you talk them, someone will end up looking at you.

Part 3: The f*cking pervy on the other side of the room

Some of the called “Bad words” are bad for an obvious reason, like, you wouldn’t say that “Motherf*cker” is a sunflower lover. It is what it is.

But if you are a minimally centered person, you know how to control your mouth (and your thoughts, too). Now, just because a ridiculous person decided that he wouldn’t take the work to control himself I stop being able to speak a word? What kind of injustice is this?

Part 4: The conclusion

Well, this was a short article, but I think it was important. Not to give answers, I’m not here for that, I’m here to make you think. Society is getting to a point where we are going to cancel our own history just for lack of respect.

We have to rethink our concepts, our educational system, our needs, and reunite. Why did the Neanderthals live with the Homo Sapiens Sapiens in peace if we can’t do this in the most connected era ever? It doesn’t make sense.

Hope you got something from here. Appreciate critics and support.
